FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. WHO IS THE POWER TEAM?

The Power Team is a passionate and diverse group of licensed and ordained ministers and world-class athletes. The Power Team holds crusades across the globe and perform the world's greatest exhibitions of strength, power, and speed, with a message of motivation and inspiration. To date, they have held crusades in over 20 countries, spreading the word of God and breaking attendance records in schools, churches, stadiums, and coliseums worldwide.

2. WHAT CAN I EXPECT AT A POWER TEAM CRUSADE?

Each crusade is a 5-night event (typically Wednesday-Sunday). Each night features 90 minutes of illustrative sermons, Christian dramas, feats of strength and more, as The Power Team communicates Biblical truths and scriptures to your attendees. Each evening, there is an entertaining piece, designed to captivate the audience, and then one member of the team shares a short, dynamic testimony about their life before and after Christ. To close, a Power Team leader gives a motivational message and altar call, encouraging those who don't know Jesus to come forward. All the momentum, both in the church and the community is focused on encouraging visitors and new believers to attend the Sunday morning service. For the Sunday morning service, the leader preaches an encouraging and uplifting message, with the support of the rest of the team, and even more people come to know Jesus.

3. WHAT DENOMINATION DOES THE POWER TEAM FOLLOW?

The Power Team is inter-denominational and we hold crusades in all kinds of churches. We are all about spreading the good news of Christ to all people, in all communities, no matter what. Whether you are a Baptist, Methodist, Lutheran, Assemblies, Presbyterian, Non-Denominational church or beyond, God has something great in store for you and your community, and The Power Team is here to help.

4. WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF HOSTING A POWER TEAM CRUSADE?

The Power Team has a proven track record of drawing people in, who wouldn't otherwise come to church. Through entertaining dramas and feats of strength, The Power Team time after time delivers powerful crusades and positive messages, and people come to know Christ and plug into church as a result. Some churches even double in size after hosting a crusade! There are clear benefits to The Power Team leading a crusade at your church.

Draw your community in to your church.

Strengthen families and relationships.

Energize and revitalize your church.

Encourage your staff and give them a newfound confidence in what God can do.

5. WILL THIS EVENT BE WORTH IT?

Yes! In fact, The Power Team ranks 2nd (only to the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association) in number of salvations over the past 25 years. The Power Team events are effective both in church and non-church circles, and are well-known and well-respected in circles all over. 6. WHAT IS THE GOAL OF A POWER TEAM EVENT?

Our goal is simple...to reach the lost and help your church win the hearts of the community. Everything we do for churches is motivated by that calling. We have developed programs that captivate, inspire, and allow the Spirit of God to work on the hearts of the people in the room. The result is that people are moved, God is glorified, and your church is refreshed like never before.

7. WHAT RESULTS CAN I EXPECT TO SEE?

The most important marking tool we use for determining the success of our ministry is how many souls come to know Christ as a result. Our crusades have seen anywhere from 1 to literally thousands of people come to know Jesus in a single crusade. In addition, after hosting a Power Team Crusade, churches, on average, have seen 18-23% income growth, 20% congregational growth, better visibility within the community, higher volunteerism within the congregation, a newfound excitement among the members, and more enthusiasm among staff for continuing the mission of the church.

8. HOW MUCH DOES A POWER TEAM EVENT COST?

We tailor our crusades to fit the needs of a wide array of churches, so our pricing can shift a little as well. We are in this because we have a heart for ministry, and we keep our prices very low for churches because our main priority is seeing the kingdom of God, as well as the local church, expand. We would be happy to put together a proposal for you and let you know exactly what the costs would be for your church. Feel free to contact us today!

9. HOW DO I ADVERTISE THE CRUSADE TO MY COMMUNITY?

We can provide everything you need to effectively spread the word in your community. We have posters, fliers, door hangers, promotional videos, newspaper ad layouts, professionally-produced TV & Radio ad spots, and more. We even provide you with a Crusade Manual (which is full of almost 40 years worth of experience on how to conduct a successful crusade) to help guide you through every step in the process.

10. HOW DO I KNOW THE POWER TEAM MEMBERS ARE DRUG FREE?

To our knowledge, we are the only feats of strength ministry that actually performs random drug testing on all our members. We value honesty and integrity, and so does our whole team, so we are committed to upholding those strict values and standards.

11. WHY CHOOSE THE POWER TEAM OVER OTHER STRENGTH TEAMS?

At our last count, we have seen 40+ knock off groups that do similar things to The Power Team, but we are the original. We started this ministry almost 40 years ago, have been through just about any situation under the sun, and we know what we are doing. We are the trusted leaders in conferences of this type, and many of the superfluous groups out there got started because they saw something we did at some point. We are in this for the ministry, not the money, and everyone on our team shares that same heart.
